Hi. I got a low mileage NA transmission for my TT. I'm aware that I need to space the starter to make up for the larger diameter of the TTs flywheel.I've read one or two things about having to grind the trans housing as well. Have you had to do this? Right now, the trans is lined up. The trans is flush with the flywheel. Ie, the flywheel is inside the bell housing just fine. However, I can't get the trans to seat the rest of the way (about 3/4"). Is this an Na/Tt thing? I dont recall stabbing the trans to be this difficult. My next idea is to loosen the intake pipes and let the motor drop back, and see if it's an angle thing... thoughts?
